Default memory card 4GB or 8GB?

I just opened my mp4 player up (see my avatar) and the memory chip in the middle has the following code: 29F64G08CFAAA on the top left corner it says: 0908 underneath a big M with a circle around it and under that a WC.

It looks like this one: 照相机IC-29F64G08CFAAA-PCBO-镁光 芯片尽在阿里巴巴-深圳市... except that on the top left it says 0908 and not 0744.

Is it an 8 GB memory card? I added a little over 4 GB and it worked just fine. It was just a little slow, if I added too much quickly it couldn't cope but if I added 1 file for ex. 1 cd at a time it would play it back just fine.
