VL-547 Background Scene

So, I have a VL-547 mp3/mp4 player. I checked around for customization tools and found this site. I downloaded the tools to modify my firmware to my liking. As I was checking my firmware, I noticed that there was another background scene apart from the one that plays by default during the music. How would I switch between the background scenes? I've tried a bunch of button combinations and haven't figured it out yet.

Anyway, I've been having a crazy time thinking about how I could customize my mp3/mp4 player. I already have a custom boot screen and a custom background scene. They were very tedious to create, though. I shall release a generic one some time in the future.

Hi Vinh (we have similar names:D)

Yeh, it took me ages to customise my bootup and end sequence on my player as well. It's on this site.

If you have time, upload your custom boot screen and a custom background scene to the site. You'll get credit for it and it will make you world famous! :) *haha*.

I've also customised the "AMV Player" background, the icons, the background and icons when the player is connected through USB... So there are a few more things to customise if you are keen to keep customising it :).

I don't have your firmware so I can't tell directly the other background scene and how to activate it.. I'm not entirely sure if you can. I know for all my players, I've seen heaps of other background images in the firmware file that I've never seen played on the player at all.

Yeah, it'll take me a while to customize everything I want on my player. For my player, the background scene of the music mode and the background scene of the movie mode, when a movie is not playing, are the same.

Okay, some day we'll figure out how to switch scenes.

Vinh,

Yes, I have two different backgrounds for video and music playback. I customised the "AMV Player" background when an AMV video file is being played.

I have also customised the background when music is being played too because the background that came with my player was terrible! It had flowers on it and u couldn't even see the words properly!

Well, share your background and mods if you want to, it would be good to see what you've done.
