Hi admin, as can be seen from my previous post, yes I have tried that (replacing the text with spaces)...I will try it just the same though...what the heck...

I will comment later on whether it works. I have also got the full IPOD thingy working, but the screen is not as nice as I thought, unless you hold it at a slightly more acute angle...

What I would advise everyone to do though is make sure you put those stock headphones in a bbq fire and invest in a set of Sennheisers... you will truly appreciate what these players are capable of! Of course you will still need to make an adapter, but it is very cheap.

These players AMV come into their own on a treadmill in the gym..unless you have something really NICE to look at! :-))

Hello,

for me it works if I just delete the menu names like "Music" without leaving spaces or so...
I made a Video of the Menu so people can see how it looks in a three bmp menu (sorry for the not perfect quality).

Hi Nabilash..it worked perfectly..now I'm off to bed , since I ust returned from the beach!!!!

Hello all, I have used Nabilash iPOD files, together with a new intro and outro, put them all in order, reduced their brightness to get better readability, and wrapped them in a complete firmware.

BACKUP YOUR FIRMWARE BEFORE APPLYING. WORKS 100% THOUGH!

For those who want it before admin put it up, email me.

So it works just by deleting all the characters instead?
I've definately learnt something there, so will definately keep that in mind.

hey can we change that menue that says initializing to Loding. And put a white background with a blue apple icon? Kinda like this:

We would have to replace the file ERRPIC with the image above.
What do you guys think? Is it possible?

nabilash 26th Jun 2006 5:30 am

Why not?

Have fun: http://img234.imageshack.us/img234/5772/errpic2tv.png

;D

Open with Paint and save it as bmp...

If your brother has a nano you could make pictures of the Menus and post them here, so we know how they look and could create better themes...

I cant get ipodwizard to load his firmware. it keeps messing up?

admin 27th Jun 2006 3:31 am

gta3dude

I haven't found a way to change the 'initializing' message to a custom image. I am stuck with a ugly bright blue screen with the word "initializing'. s1res tool doesn't seem to have it either.

Looks like it's something the s1res tool can't change for the time being.

You have to load the Updater file you downloaded, then choose the firmware which is included and click "load".
