Hi,

I made a iPod Design for 1.5 Inch and 1.8 Inch, here is how it looks like:

your mp4 player is now supported! I edited the files for 1.8 and 1.5 inch to match the formats (puh, a lot of work :D):

The PSD Files are included! So if your Menu has a different order, you can change it! You need the Font "Myriad Pro Regular".

You can use a FTP Search Engine like this one to find the font.

I think you should put it in the upload page. It looks great. Put the ipod signature in the menue. Make it look as ipod ish as possible. Bye the way were did you get the ipod images from to creat that ipod theme?

Good Stuff, im going to play around with the PSD and upload my own version of this. Is that okay with you nabilash? Im probably going to try and reorganize the menu (the order will be the same as yours) but I will try editing the background to match the ipod as well as edit the menu style a bit. :) but once again fantastic design!

I will keep on editing, too. Since a few mins I extracted the original iPod Nano images like batteries and other stuff...

ok what is Myriad Pro Regular? What exactly is it and where do i put it at?

Hey Nabilash.. i edited all the images and fixed them up but I have a problem..it doesnt display properly because my menu is formed of 3 individual BMP Images and its kind of hard to make it work on my player.

Also, even after i edited it to try and make it partially work I still have the english text on the player showing up towards the top that says MUSIC and stuff, so i edited the text and got rid of that but then again I have 3 split bmp's which is making this theme not work :(

You have to install the font in your system. Go to Start -> Control Panel and you will see an item called FONTS just drag and drop it in there.

the only way this menu system would work in your system would be to change the BMP files to 102 x 108 pixel BMPs (instead of 128) with a coloured background.

The last 6 verticals columns of pixels on the right should be the same colour as the background and then create the 2 other BMP files in the same colour. this makes it all central.

My menue is like benfo's menue. Its made of 3 bmps.

Do you mean your "music" menu is made up of 6 images 'sliced up' to make one image? Or is it a sequence of 6 different images?

Images look quite blurry so can't make it out 100%.
It looks like the images are too big for your player's screen is that right?

What screen size is it? 1.5" or 1.8"?
If it's 1.5, try your images as 128 x 96 instead to see if that helps. I know my player has an annoying header and footer bar at the top and bottom which I can't edit, so just redid my theme to match it instead....

its all sliced to make one image. Its a cd that spins when you scroll to it.

yea they look kinda to big. what should I resize them to if my player is 1.5"

I opened s1res and it want let me set the size of the image. Its one width:128 Hight:20. How do i resize it?

If I would know how to change the sizes of the Image in the FW :roll:

Hey you know what, I think we should do this kind of ipod theme for the games, telephone book, pictures,and system. DO you think its possible to make those with this ipod firmware theme?

gta3dude you have to edit the images to make it work right, you have the type of player like I do, so you have to edit the psds to match the image size to the ones that are displayed when you open the firmware to edit it. Our firmware has the menu cut up into 3 parts. Here is how its broken down :

You have to manually edit it yourself, but im working on modding the theme to fit my player and so far it has worked amazingly, I will try and upload my version soon as I have made quite a few changes.

PS: The Ipod Firmware doesn't include menu screens, it includes about 250 graphics and most of them are small, very small...

For example: Say we have the page games for example, can we change that boarder that says ipod to games. If there is 3 games why can't we change the names to what the main menue looks like.

You can do that, but you always have blue numbers in the corner of the Display (at least in my Brothers mp4 player). I also tryed to change the Font to the iPod one, but I think I edited the wrong font, it doesnt work for now...

There will be a small update to the PSD Files very soon (I guess tomorrow), which fixes text layout and replaces the boarder behind the "iPod" to the original nano boarder (nano firmware hehe :D).

PSD file is a photoshop image format! ;D
With this you can edit an image easier, since you have all itens and layers displayed in you photoshop!
Try editing it! xD

I have made an edited version that works with the MP4 players that use 3 BMP files on each menu screen. I haven't tested it yet but im pretty sure it should solve the problems some users are having.

Those pics you sent me are great! Only thing is that on the sides its black. I guess thats were the 3 image would be.

Hi Nabilash, like GTA3DUDE I am having problems centering that damn screen. Maybe uploading your full firmware might be a good idea! I know there are inherent problems with different firmware, but looking at your images, I can see that they are similar to a lot of players!

yeah im happy with that - i have already uploaded the file - some time ago but i can get it removed after you download it and you can add it to whatever you have created so far?
