Unusual themes in 1.5" players

I have created a few themes for my 1.5" MP4 player, but have not seen any other themes created by anyone else that are compatible without me having to tweak them.

This is due to the fact that the menu is formed of 3 different BMP files that are arranged as shown in the example below:

The long verticle bmp is used twice to create the sides of the menu as seen above.

I was just wondering if anyone else has created themes for this type of player or if there is even a way a changing the firmware so that menus are simply formed of 128*128 BMP files.

what format is the file in? S1res will not open it - "an attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format".

What version of s1res are you using? I'm using ver 1.6 and I could open the .bin file mentioned in tadad's link......

its ok, i just didnt realise it was a RAR file, but I got it all working
