renesigma, I saw your theme at s1mp3.org you have done a great job. It would be great if you could zip it all together and upload it to Downloads>Themes>Uploads by Members.

By the way, I saw that you are working on make the 3.5.37 compatible with the black nanos with the jack and usb down 128*128px. I'm very interested, because that is my mp4, and I try with a lot of versions of 3.5.37, but the player doesn't startup, only the classic blue screen. And I'm interested in make themes for the 3.5.37 because the bitmaps of the mainmenu cover the entire screen and suports three frames of animation.

what program u use to make ur own pic

i have photoshop & i use to make my own pic
in same pixel

but when i add to my firmware
pic will able to ugly pic

Oh well, I use a "comboy" of programs, listed here:

MS Paint
M Photo Editor
Paint Shop Pro
Animation Shop
Corel 3D8
Adobe Photoshop
Fotocanvas
Foto Suite

But I always use MS Paint to save my bitmaps at 24 bit.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If when you try to import a bmp file using s1res.exe, the image looks like a tv when lost the horizontal sincronism, then s1res.exe it's corrupted, try downloading again. That happen to me, after a week, the program become corrupted, and I just extract again the zip. And everythin looks good.

I always use Photoshop and save it to .BMP from there.

The only thing that's ugly for me is the small text, but I think it's to do with the FONT itself than anything else.

What happens when you use the .bmp files from the THEMES section and upload to your player? Do they look ok? You can always upload some photos and your original .PSD file if you wanted to, to this site and we can take a look at it?

my ver of s1res.exe is 1.5 i try to download 1.6
