MyMPx.org - Customized outer skin idea- Nano design project

I was thinking about modifying the outside of my player; but taking the real iPod Nano and printing that onto a piece of transparent skin/plastic; so that I could stick that on top of my Nano copy. This would act as protection, and also, so that it would look much more like the real iPod nano. Does anyone know a transparent skin or plastic sheet that I could use as a skin for my player, and that I could also print on? I need something that is printable, and that would stick to the player and act as a protective layer (it must be very thin though). Obiously, if I were to find something that I could use, I could modify my Nano by changeing things like the color, or even the overall design! It would be nice to protect the screen also; so a piece of film with UV protection would also be great. Maybe if this project works out; I could even sell these (and have people customize their own designs). Thanks a lot in advance.
