Got One, Hate The Layout, Now What?!
 

Hey everyone, im new here and I just bought a 4 GB No-Brand iPod Nano wannabe. It's screen is '1.5 and the "Firmware Version" screen says the following:

MP3 PLAYER
SC85051B
2006/03/17
ACT_V3.5.35

The layout is a bunch of pink flowers and stuff everywhere and I really want the layout to be this thing I found on this site called "MyPod". Could someone please tell me how to go from this stupid pink flowers thing to the MyPod or at LEAST something other than this. It's just so boring, I was also wondering if there was any firmware that you could go through your music like a menu where you see each song, like on a genuine iPod.

Have a look at the Knowledge Base - How to: Modify your firmware using s1res tool from here.

It will take you through the steps needed to modify your firmware with another skin as you are right, the pink flowers look awful.

Wow ok this is scaring me, the s1res tool just totally screwed up my computer...i went to go run it and my computer automatically restarted and now whenever I try to open a program, My Documents pops up and the program DOESNT! What the HELL is going on? All my restore points have been erased as well so there is no hope for fixing this one! AGH!

That's the first time I've heard S1res doing anything like that before! What version of Windows to you have?

I suggest try uninstalling it from [Add/Remove Programs] from Control Panel and restart and see if that fixes the problem.

What version of the s1res did you use as well by the way?

Can you post here your firmware?? I'm looking for some beautiful theme!

All themes can be found in our [Downloads] --> [Themes] section on the left hand side menu bar there.

There's a lot to choose from and very well done from our members.

I'm not looking for theme... if he posts her firmware, I'll extracted images on my own
