skyline.gtr.tg, Text background colors are hard set in coding and there is no way to change them, you generally have to design your theme colors around them.

thanks for replying to this one, tadad1 !

this is right: you need to work around the colors. in your case, it would have been interesting to know what the original graphic for the cursor bar looked like. i am hoping you made a back-up of your FW before replacing any images, right?

based on this image, you can figure out what you can do. for example, you can create your own cursor bar which uses the blue-green in the gradient. this will help it merge better with the background color of your text.

it's hard to do in ascii, but assuming the background color of the text is a solid dark blue color, you could do this (each line below represents 1 pixel height for a cursor graphic which is 12 pixels high):

______________________________
light blue
a between lite blue and dark blue
a slightly darker shade of blue
dark blue
dark blue
dark blue
dark blue
dark blue
dark blue
a slightly darker shade of blue
an even darker shade of blue
a much darker shade of blue
-------------------------------------------

the "dark blue" above is whatever color appears behind the cursor text currently. does that make sense?

lol! sorry for no response. =[

Yea, thankz for the help. It looks a lot better than before. Also, with my mpx(i wonder if this happens with other ones as well) you cant add your own text (and deleting the ascii one) on the 3rd lvl screen. If you do delete it(eg. local folder) then the 2nd lvl gets stuffed. ne1 else got this problem
