Default Fonts - Great site to download from

I came across this site while modding my firmware and thought it might be useful to others to.

http://www.webpagepublicity.com/free...l#Free%20Fonts

There's 6500 free different styles of font on this site and you can see how they look before you download them.Great for modding. The only problem is finding a font you like i surfed the site for about 4 hours just trying to find a font i liked.

It would be good to know what different font's people are using with there modding. Some of the font's people have used in there mods look great but are hard to find when you don't know what to look for.Anyway hope you find somthing you like.

*phew*

That's a lot of fonts to choose from!

I don't even know where to start!
I might spend abit of time looking through these and I'm keen to get back into modding my player again (the current screens are boring now ).

What fonts does everyone else use for their mods? I too would be interested.

Personally i use Xerox Sans Serif Narrow Bold. It's the closest iv found so far to the i pod font.I know what you meen about mods getting boring,i havn't yet reached the end of a project as i always get bored with it half way through and start over we're all just lucky there is such a great site as www.mympxplayer.org for us to access.Honestly if i hadn't found this site i would have had no idea that my mpx was modable and it would still be in the sad state it came in ops: So thanks for the great site and keep up the good work

I don't think the fonts are changable directly in the firmware,or atleast i don't know how to do it.I use fonts when modding psd's or bmp files in the gimp or photoshop.Just when modding menu's and sub menu's.It would be good if the standard font's where changable so you could make everything match.

Hi, Newb here,

I would like to know how to change my font as well. I've modded my MPx, new menus, load screens, etc, but all of my words are in Japanese or Chinese now. SUX!!

How do I fix this??

Sorry,i should have explained better ops: changing fonts can only be done in your mods, not in the player itself(as far as im aware). As for your players font changing to chinese, this will happen everytime you upload a modded firmware(or your original firmware for that matter)as it is the default language. To fix you need to navigate to your language settings and change it back to english. This can be a bit tricky the first time but you soon learn how to do it off by heart. In my player it's the third one down in the settings sub menu and then the second one down in the language sub menu.Hope this helps.

I've found a site with over 10000 (ten thousand) fonts, and they are all free.
Maybe it will help someone to find that font you always needed. It has nicer preview, in which you can type whatever text you want.

Hi guys I'd just like to know how to put these fonts in the player? s1res seems to only take bmps, but these fonts are all ttfs? I've tried many font editing programs, but none seem able to change them into bmps. If anybody knows how, I'd appreciate if you can teach me.
