greetings all,

sorry for the loooong radio silence.

i know, i know. what the heck happened, right? :shock:

well, after this site went down, i got really busy with other things (like getting ready for the birth of my second daughter).

now, i have close to no time to work on these screens (atleast not for the next two weeks). plus, my computer is temporarily out-of-service, so i can't pick up on anything anyway.

really sorry for the delay. i have lot's done, but have been really unhappy with the player main screen. just can't get it to look right. plus, i am still fighting with the stinking background colors.

please be patient a little while longer and keep checking this site for updates. thanks for all of the nice and encouraging emails!

i will reply to all of my "myPod" postings, so that you all get notified when i am done.

p.s. i have received tons of requests for me to send out my firmware. this is a bad idea. 1) because flashing foreign firmware on your player can render it useless, and 2) because my firmware is a mess. a real work in progress. i load a lot of blank (black) images onto it so i can figure out the layout of certain pages. if you installed it, you would be thoroughly disappointed (or really pissed). :evil: so, hold out and wait for the final release with all of the BMPs and PSDs, ok? :wink:

My second child is arrive in December, so I can understand what you mean :).

What you've done so far is excellent so keep up the good work, but family does take priority. :D.

no way! mine arrives mid december, too (on the 15th the doctors say)!

we have spent the last weeks looking at how we are going to make our apartment work with the extra addition to the family. then, we started wondering if the car was going to be too small (with two car seats in the back and a stroller in the boot). then we thought, shoot, we need a different stroller. it's a can of worms...

now onto picking a name!

Wow, ours is due Dec 11, so only 4 days before yours :).

Same situation. We haven't decided on a name either. We have a small car too, so we're going to put our first daughter in the front with me, the newborn in the back with my wife.

We ended up buying a new stroller as well. One that has an extra seat in the front and the newborn behind. That way, we can take both kids on the same stroller.

Hey, alittle off topic from the theme, but that's ok :).

Our one isn't that advanced, it's an 'addon' because we don't have that many variety of strollers to choose from in NZ and they're really expensive! :(

Everything's been for the baby. The only thing I've bought for myself in the last two years is a pair of pants for work and that was about 2 weeks ago on Fathers Day. :D

hey hey doon. great work on the themes. and congrats on the baby. now when u r finished with the theme and have it in a 3.5.35 firmware file -- can u send that .bin or firmware file of ur great looking "mypod" theme to bullshirt69@msn.com, because i never have any chance to come on this site and check if its been uploaded. so if u can do this id appreciate it! thank you. ! and again im loving the theme!

well, you would have been a very advanced 8 year old! changing this stuff is not rocket science, but it isn't easy either!

my firmware version is 3.5.37

i will post my firmware for the daring (or careless) when i am finished. you should really take the BMP files and just update your own firmware. this is the safest way to mod your chiPod. anything else could kill it (unless you are 150% sure you know it will work).
