Easy way to preview themes on your player.
 

Most of the themes uploaded to site or posted in the forum have screen sized preview images and animated gif's.
To test drive how the theme will look on your player, right click on the preview image and select "Save Picture As.. " and save to your PC. Then you can load it to your player and view it with your picture viewer. This way you can see how the theme will look on your small screen.

does this really work with animated gifs, too?

doon, I have been able to load animated gif on all my players. The images become slightly compressed by about 2 pixel as the image viewer does not quite display full screen. Like you said so simple yet I only thought of it the other day while working on a theme. So now I only load the firmware 500 times when making a theme not the usual 1000 :).
