Some help about modding my xPod
 

I have 1.5 inch Blueberry CAT 1gb player with fw ver 3.5.37, and i have succesfully applied some of the themes from this site, and even created some of my own(wich i will upload soon) .... I have a few questions:

How can i change the stupid hourglass screen(the one before LOGO.res)?
What is the name of the bmp that is the background in the mp3 title scrolling field?
How can i change the color of the fonts, for example the color of the birate info in the corner?
Is there any alternative fonts that i can "pack" into modded fw?

I created some cool "BW" themes, they just need some final touch, please help me make them better !

drumcodes, Most of these things can not be changed and you have to build your theme around these colors.
Waterlily has a feature for changing the hourglass but I have never got it to work. The title field background color is set in code and can not be changed.
You can try editing the font bitmps to change the font but it has never worked for me.
There are bitmaps for the numbers used in the bit rate info etc that you can re-colour but they have different names depending on your firmware so just look for tiny numbers 0, 1, 2 ,3 ,4 ..... 9

You will find Waterlily in the Downloads>Tools section, if you make any changes you have to load your firmware back to your player within Waterlily by pressing the download button as there is no way to save the changes back to a .bin file. if you want to keep the changes then you will need to use s1fwx to re-extract the firmware.
