Editing fonts on mp4 player
 

Hello there, I have an mp4 player with firmware 3.5.35. I've already edited all the images with s1res to be more ipod-ish with a little help from Doon's myPod theme. Thanks Doon.

Now I'm beginning to edit the fonts since the fonts on the nanoclone are ugly. In a previous post by tadad1, he said fonts are not editable(for certain firmwares?), but I found you can edit mine with a bmp font creator. The only problem is that I can't get the characters in s1res to line up correctly(in the grid) and display full letters. So i'm left with parts of cetain letters lol..) Is there anybody here who has sucessfully changed their fonts? If so, can you help me out?

I've edited my Hebrew font,

The fonts are 8*8 pixel for each letter, and monocrome color...you cant do shadows, Just make the letters small enought and put them in the left top corner...just remember that if you want the font to be readable save 1 pixel for bigger letters, for example:

'r' is one or 2 pixels smaller than 't' so begin the r letter one pixel from the top..

Allways save a backup for your font...

Would anyone happen to know how to change the font color or background color for text?
