Hi everyone, after lots of playing and experimenting(after backing up formware, of course)I have managed to teach myself how to load altered images and themes. However, I have tried many 'ipod' themes and I have several questions.
Firstly, several of the themes appear to flash at me on the screen, is this because I have only inserted a few screen shots out of the six that are available per menu selection?? Also the images do not appear wide enough on the screen so that there is a gap down each side- any ideas?
I would appreciate the help as I now can upload altered firmware images with ease, its just getting them to look right on the screen is a problem. I have a wilson elctronics unit, 1gb from hong kong. Firmware version v3.5.35.

kins73, The image layout and dimensions are not the same for all firmware. While on some firmware menu images can be single files on others they can be made up of 4 -5 separate images that fit together to create the menu. So the theme you are trying to load may be for a different firmware layout. Not all firmware is suitable for the iPod style menu either as it requires the whole image to change from menu to menu, on some firmware only parts of the image change.
Upload your original firmware to www.sendspace.com and leave a link and I will check it out and let you know what themes will suit your firmware best.
