NOOB ALERT Um just bought a I-Platnium

Should get it in a week or so these are the ones this forum is talking about right...? I mean similar ones atleast...

I have not used mine ofcourse but i hear the layout is odd and needs to be viewed sideways :shock:

If i use one of these themes will that fix the prob. BTW i know a decent amount about flashing and editing bioses as i have done it alot with graphic cards not sure if this will be similar or not.

bL33d , probably you are mentioning about the 1.8" screen. From what i know, some of the 1.8" plays videos in landscape mode, so you'll get a wider display screen. As for the other functions, it should be in portrait orientation.

You can always use the themes found in the downloads section to customise your player. But ALWAYS use the extracted firmware from your player, repair it and then importing the theme images into the repaired firmware file. Never ever use someone else's themed firmware as it would most likely kill your player.

i guess your experience in flashing and editting bios should be somewhat similar. The MP3 Utilities Upgrade Tool is an idiot-proof firmware flashing program.
