s1res on firmware 9.0.48 - "incorrect format"

I extracted the firmware (9.0.48)from my mpx and tried to mod it. The dump.bin can not be processed by s1res 1.9. Opening the bin-file results in the following message: "An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format".
Does anybody have a clue?

Exactly the same problem.

I will ask the guy who made the s1res tool what the status is with editing 9.0.48 firmware.
