Changing I-Platinum Jr. 1GB Startup Screen firmware 9.0.48
 

Hello. I would like to change my startup screen/theme on my player. It is using firmware version 9.0.48. Is there any way to do this? Any help would be great.

swfx , basically the version 9.0.48 firmware cannot be extracted. Currently there are no tools available to do it, we are still waiting for future versions of the tools to support your version.

i'll suggest that you not do anything to the player's firmware as the version 9.0.xx series are very difficult to recover once killed.

Is someone currently working on a tool for extracting 9.0.48 firmware? Where can I check the status if so?

swfx , ATJUpload 4.0 Beta is able to extract only 9.0.43, maybe might work with your version. It is available Here.

However, the S1res tool used for editting the firmware images still does not support your version.
Currently wiRe of S1MP3.de is working on it. We'll be keeping note on it once it is able to do so.
