hey all im new here that link above is the mp4 i have its black, 4GB and thats it, i was wandering if i could change the layout of it, i.e. to picture to start up with and the bye at the end, also if u have time please explain to me how to change stuff. i.e. the background of the option i.e. picture for radio.. amv.. music and so on if u cant help no probz x

rakashmiri, If you have bought this player I suggest you do a search of the site for "Hacked 4GB". these players do not suport more than 2GB of memory so anything over is fake with a smaller memory chip programed to read as 4GB when in fact it could be as small as 128MB.

Re skinning what version firmware does your player use.

rakashmiri , you can remove the memory hack using the guide found Here.

To check the firmware version, go to the player's System menu >> Firmware Version. Here it will tell you of the current version installed in your player.

i would like to change the layout of it to look like an iPod help me please x x

ps u know when u play a song cna i change the look of that aswell, il upload screenshots of the mp4 so u know what it looks liek ok bye x x

rakashmiri , it is relatively easy to change themes for the 3.5.xx series. Just remember to always backup your original firmware, and to always use your own firmware for theming purposes.
By using other's firmwares you will only kill your player.

First you'll need to extract your current firmware, which is also your backup. The guide is Here.

Next, is modifying your firmware images. The guide is Here.
There are many themes in the downloads section, but not all will work with your firmware version as the sizes and layout might be different. However, you can manually edit the images to suit your firmware.

When done, upload your firmware back into your player. The guide is Here.

ok, could someone please post an iPod layout for my 1.5inch mp4 version 3.5xxseries please i beg u xx and pictures so i can c wht it looks like including start menu, shut down, and when playing audioo files x x
