Default Installing themes

[google] Can somebody please tell me how I can install the themes that I downloaded from this godsend of a site. I have really found their tutorials useful but have had problems installing mods on my 2GB "MP4" player.
Thanks and regards in advance.

blupler , what version is your original firmware?
A note to ensure is not to use firmwares from others, even if the version number is the same. It would very likely kill your player.
So always use your own firmware for theming purposes.

Basically, to theme your player, download someone's theme. And using your original firmware, swap the images individually into your original firmware using the S1res Tool.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

blupler, If you go to the setting menu of your player and select firmware version. If it is version 9.0.48 or 9.0.45 you will not be able to theme it as there are no tools yet that work with these versions.

You need to first extract your firmware from your player using s1fwx.

Then you can change the images using s1res

Then reload your firmware to your player using MP3 Player Utilities Update Tool

Never try to load a pre-themed firmware to your player. Always customize your own firmware then there is no risk of killing your player with an incompatible firmware.
