What version do I have

I have been reading about the different themes that people have used, and I would like to modify my player. When you are talking about version 3.3.3etc where does that info come from?? I have used the tool to make a back up bin of my firmware but that is as far as I have gotten. Any help would be appreciated.

Also I will be glad to upload my firmware to help someone out if we can figure out what it is. I have a player just like the one in the link here.

platinumcd, If you go into the players "Settings" menu you will find an entry for "Firmware Version". This will give you the firmware information.

I have used the tool from this site to extract the firmware. Is this one that is needed or is it already here. Just wanting to help.

Also with the version would I be able to change the themes??

platinumcd, 3.5.37 firmware can be themed with s1res however they do not all use a common image layout so a theme made on one player may not match all the images used on another player. You may need to edit some images or create some new ones of your own. You may also find you can use different parts of different themes. It is best not to try loading someone elses already themed firmware as this could easily kill your player.

If you could upload the firmware it would be great, even though there are lots of 3.5.37 already on site they are constantly changing so there may be some members that could use your firmware to recover their players.
