i ddid what u wrote but after it tells me that the fw success, it restart the ipod clone and nothing happen.. i'm finding myself with me old fw~...

why does it happens?

nirh216 , the "firmware update success" in the Upgrade Tool only tells you that the firmware has been successfully written into the player. It does not mean that the firmware will be compatible with your player.

Erm...guys...I am new one on this forum but i'm not a NOOBE in modding and i say: I ALREADY THEMED MY 9.0.48 firmware 3 times
And...FULL firmware can be downloaded FROM PLAYER by ATJUpload4.0-Beta-its on japan but i can include PIC with instruction
I used s1res v2.1 to edit firmware
In quetions of uploading this programs(if you TOOOOO LAZY to find it yourself :) ) you can mail me at PaCTaMaH7@yandex.ru

At least it answers the question for me that my mp4 player has a blank screen because of incorrect firmware.

Yes, what;s the name of the software that allows you to change the settings of your language and battery? is it s1res?

to mod name,menu language,battery capacity,fm/am radio enabling/disabling(if hardware doesn't support it wouldn't work ;}) e.t.c USE
