Default Modding the 9.0.48 firmware-Problems with radio

I am in the process of reskinning the 9.0.48 firmware to look like an ipod. I have the main menu complete, but am having troubles with the FM Radio skin. Here is a screenshot of the menus:

The items I have circled in red are what i just can't seem to find an image for in the firmware file. Are these maybe coded into the FMRADIO.AP file? If so, does anyone know how to code the firmware on these? I know that its in assembly but I haven't taken a class on that yet .

But yeah, if anyone knows how to get rid of the ugly purple bars your knowledge would be greatly appreciated

maybe you replaced some images of your firmware with inappropriate images from the theme.

upload your firmware and let me see if i can do something.

slice_69, Sadly text background colours are hard coded into the firmware and can not be changed or at least I have not heard of anyone managing to change them. As not all firmware use the same layout when building a theme you generally have to design it around these permanent items.

Can you upload the firmware to www.uploaded.to and leave a link.

Also where did you get the 9.0.48 for your player from? If possible can you upload it to site as many members are needing recovery firmware for their dead players.

Yeah i will upload the firmware. I believe that I dl'ed the firmware from this site as the 9.0.48 full package. I used it to recover my dead player and to upgrade my firmware whenever i change an image.....this firmware seems to be very stable and let you upgrade even with a full firmware file.

slice_69, Oh ok I thought it may have been a new one you had downloaded or one that came with your player. Good to hear that you were able to recover your dead player though

pmilladcs, You can't extract your own players firmware for modding if you have a version above 9.0.43, but if you have the factory full version you are still able to mod it. The mod tools work fine it is just the extraction tool that is the problem.

Here is my iPod_like firmware.

This firmware is the full firmware! This can be used to recover dead players and upgrades. I do not take any responsibility for dead players or corrupted upgrades...If you have a 9.0.48 player this is the file for you!!! I have used the upgrade function of mp3 utilities about 175 times, so it shouldn't brick your player unless its not compatible.

Now all I need is to learn the programming of these and then I should be. able to finish this theme.
