mods? themes?
 

okay, in the one hour i have left before going to bed, i need to know:

i have an iPod nano 4gb knock-off 120x120 screen with firmware version
ACT2097_S72_1
9.0.49

what i want to know is:

1. can i mod or theme this in any way?
2. can i find out how much memory this REALLY has?
3. what else can i do with this thing to make it more WORKABLE?

sorry, noob, i know. i'm part of various other forums and i hate it when noobs ask questions like these, but i have limited time left before i have to log off and i REALLY need to know. thanks bunches. it would be great if you guys could at least point me to the appropriate forums.

e_p_a_k , at the moment, any versions above v9.0.43 are not supported by the firmware extraction tool. So you can't do any theme mods yet.

okay i'm pissed. through trial and error i've figured out that the memory capacity is at around 128MB. 128 FREAKING MB. okay. the storage capacity of my cellphone's memory card is larger than this. so much for 4GB. grr.

e_p_a_k , i'll suggest that perhaps you could contact your seller for a full refund. As 128MB is such a small memory size, can't do much with it.

can't. my dad got it from me while he was in china. i asked for a specific kind of mp3 player, but i guess the "deal" was too sweet for him to resist. hmm. i should've warned him about cheap knock-offs.

e_p_a_k , then you have no other choice but to wait until the firmware extraction tool is able to support your version. Then you can extract your firmware to theme it.
