pimp my mp4
 

ok i have v9.0.48 firmware running on a 2 gb nano clone. what can i do to pimp it out. and when i say that i mean inside of the player and outside of it. like videos, modding. cases crap like that. any suggestions?

you cant mod your player as your firmware is above v9.0.43

but as far as external looks are concerned, you can try searching on ebay for silicon cases for ipod nano which after a little modification can fit in a nano clone as well.

there was a member on this forum perhaps michiganfrog who used to talk about a small chip like thing which when placed anywhere on the player, would enchance the audio and video quality substantially. try searching for that too

Oh yeah, the Quantum Audio Blocks. Well just for fun, if you want to try "pimping" your mp4 with them pmilladcs, send me a dollar to cover postage (or a SASE with postage that will work in Canada), and I'll send you a sample sheet. (If you're willing to open up the player, you can go further). It's not gonna improve the look of it though, if that's your kick. Apart from the QAB's, I "pimped" my mp4 by buying a nice leather case for the 2g Nano and cutting it up where necessary (you can see photos of it in the gallery). Strapped a white cable headphone adapter to the case, so I could use good headphones (Koss Sportapro).
