I already extract my firmware from my mp4 but the problem my S1res can open the the dump bin... what would be the problem? do i have to donate to Paypal in order to have the full version of the software?

jamesvhong, unfortunately s1res doesnt support firmware versions above 9.0.43 which is why s1res didnt open your bin file. you will have to wait for hopefully a few more months before a new version of s1res is released.

Deepakrr, thank you so much for taking the time to do what you've done. I'm glad you've been able to do anything with it at all as I couldn't relate which images went where as the names are all different.

here you go. i have themed your firmware with the iPod + Carousel + Vista themes.

since you have two menu opetion in your player, the menus i have themed are Carousel menus and iPod menus. the other backgrounds are of Vista theme by tadad as they suitable for your player. i have replaced all the images of your firmware including the shutdown and boot logos.

auntiekiller , it's not possible to safely theme any v9.0.48 firmwares at the moment. As the firmware extractor S1fwx does not support your version.

i am about have my All - India Exams currently and as soon as they finish, i am moving to NZ permanently. as you know settling in a new place takes some time, so i am expecting to be back here only after about a couple of months.

i know there is already one, but more detail would help people that dont 100% understand it

pmilladcs, lol this is my first All-India Exams. till now I have been giving school exams. the syllabus is too much. i hardly get about 10 mins a day and thats when i come here. then i will have to shift to NZ. it takes time to settle down. I cant expect my parents to buy a computer as soon as we reach there lol though they may. yes there are cyber cafes but in NZ they have four terms in the school and by the time I arrive, the first one would have finished. so i have to join in the second term and have to do quite some catching up. but yeh i will definitely try to be on here from the cyber cafes as much as i can.

clackers, i am not the best in making guides but since you insist, i shall try to make one when i return as right now i am barely on for 10 mins and i dont think i will be able to do it properly :)

this is because if you read my earlier post, i am having exams and immediately after that i have to move to NZ.
