Some help about theming..

Hello pepz am i have a little prob here..i totaly hate the flowers and some stupid hearts as the player comes on and off ..dats is a lil bit gay ..but my firmware is 0.9.48

unfortunately you will have to do with it for a few more months.

a version of s1res has not yet been released which allows firmware versions above 9.0.43 to be edited

I have an idea , i've just send a message to the ebay seller which i bought the player from and asked him for the exact firmware which will fit this player.. can i edit it and put the ipod theme on it and then reinstall it on my player , would it still work?

since your player runs on 9.0.48, you cannot theme it as mentioned above.

if you try changing the firmware version, it might kill your player.

i wass wondering how u know what type ur chiPOD is liek 9.0.48 or watever. does anyone know what a "full metal platinum 1.8" uses if itd like new(i just ordered it the other day) i really wana know so plz respond as soon as possible, also if anyone has the new full metal platinum PLEASE put a review on or sumthin cause im really curios about it thnx

kwimbo , most new players shipped are now using the new firmwares of v9.0.xx series.

To check your firmware version, go to the System menu, select Firmware Version. In here it'll tell you of your player's firmware version.

I dont understand-WTF?
I HAVE 9.0.48 firmware and themed it already 3 times :twisted:
I used ATJUpload4.0-Beta to upload FULL firmware from my player(for case it will DIE

),extracted dump.bin,edited it with s1res v2.1 and writed it on player-WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
maybe you have unusual chip
i have ATJ2097H

PaCTaMaH, Interesting ATJUpload has not worked for others in the past. Perhaps it has been updated. Could any 9.0.48 or 9.0.50 owners confirm if it works for them.
