FS 66 swedish language?

Hi!
I have bought a Foston FS 66 (actually it's called Hillman mp450, but it's the same, says foston when I start it) and on the last page in the manual I can read that there is swedish language support.
In the opptions on the player I can only change between 3 different languages. So I wonder if there's a firmware for swedish language or something I can do to get swedish language in the menus.

I got an other question too. When I use s1res I can see that there's 2 different types of "main menus" (the one where you see music, video icons etc.). How come there are 2? can I switch between them?

if there is no swedish option in your player then most probably the Manual misguided you. it is recommended not to change/upgrade your firmware as it might kill your player.

if you can see two menus in your firmware, then you should have an option called Display Style in settings which will allow you to change between the two.

Re: FS 66 swedish language?

Yea probably, but still, In the "Technique specifications" part of the manual, where it says about the screen, memory, power etc. there's a row stating: "Language select option", and a lot of different languages are counted. So I think I would be able to change to thoose languages in the player. Well, it's not really a problem, I understand everything so.

Now I have looked a little more in the firmware, and on the mstring, where I can see the swedish language. There's even a FONT_SWE.
Even if the language is far from good when I look on what it says on different actions, it is there.

So doesn't this mean I should be able to switch to swedish=

And then for the menu question. I don't have an option to change the apparence on the menus. I'll just have to stick with the one I have :P

Thanks for the answer.

Regards Fredrik

yes, then you should have an option for Swedish language. i wonder why it is not there in the options.

try using all the options in Languages and see if one of them is Swedish. maybe the manufacturers renamed it wrong

I've tried it, no swedish there. And there's only 3 different languages to choose from. English, Spanish and Portugal.
Something isn't as it should be :P
