iphone theme problems
 

hey guys! im new to the site so hey everybody im caskin8a, howzit :D

im making an iphone skin for my mp4, and everythings going well until one of the images wont change. to be specific, the background of the now playing scroller. was initally blue, but i want it changed to fit my graphic background. for some reason it wont change. i save the .bin with s1res, and update the file, but after updating the firmware with the updated file it still shows up blue in my mp4. its the one titled "SCROLLBC"

anyone know whats going on? : :?

one more thing, i know its possible to change the fonts in your player, but is is possible to change the font colours used in specific places?

caskin8a , the blue bars are hard-coded into the firmware. So S1res would be unable to change it, even if you replace it with another coloured image file.

I haven't really experimented with the fonts, but it seems that they are fixed in terms of colours when used in certain application of the player.

thats what i thought, but i've seen it changed on other themes thats all. how would they have done it? or is there absolutely no way around it?

thats what my skin looks like when playing. obviously with all the lil numbers etc but thats the background.

as you can imagine, a big blue bar through that completely ruins it heh. ive spent like 50 years getting this to perfection and this is a real kick in the balls.

theres no way to change the blue bar at all?

caskin8a , unless you are able to edit the hex codes directly, pretty much you can't do anything to the blue bars.

Each firmware differs slightly from each other, some firmwares might have the blue bars for "SCROLLBC", whilst others might be just the normal editable image file.
