I have a mp4 with the fw 9.0.48....

Hi, i'm new in this stuff, actually I discovered it yesterday, i didn't know that was possible to mod and change the appearance of mpx players. I read an article that says 9.0.48 firmware cannot be modified yet, but I'm wondered with this stuff...And I'm here to ask for the veterans, when do you think that will be possible to mod it?

P.S.: Sorry for the bad English, if it is... ;]

FreneticZ , at the moment it is not possible to extract the v9.0.48 firmwares. Without the extracted firmware, it is extremely risky to download someone else's themed firmware to flash into your player. Even if the version or player casing looks exactly the same.

So i'll suggest you enjoy your player as it is until it is supported by the extraction software.

LX93001_A
2006/12/08
ACT_V9.0.4x
9.0.4x = 9.0.48
I was wondering if a downgrade of firmware could be made to permit modding.

w00t, A downgrade or any change of 9 series firmware would in all probability lead to a dead player with little or no chance of recovery.

well.. he already said that this will probably lead to a dead player.
I understand that tools for extraction are currently in development - can we/I be of any assistance?
