Which skins are compatible for this player?
 

Hello, I'm here to ask if my MP4 player which I just bought is compatible for skins on this website...here are the details...

Brand Name: VNet
Firmware: 9.0.50
General Overview: The boot up screen is a hourglass followed by the brand name Vnet, then it goes into the menu in this order:
Music - Picture of a Headphones,
Movie - Picture of a Camera with a Tape,
Record: Picture of a microphone,
Voice: A Picture of a Loudspeaker,
FM Radio: Pict. of a Radio,
Photo: Picture of a magnifying glass and a photo,
Setup: A pict. of a gear,
E-book: Pict. of books
Game: Pict. of ace cards

What it says on the firmware version section of the Setup program:

2006/10/30
9.0.50
2007/01/01
CTW500_V50

It can play all the formats normal players can play except it cant play .wav and it only can play .amv video files.

Now my question to you is, is this player compatible for skins on this website?

Rabbit Leader,

No it's not able to be 'skinned' as firmware version 9.0.50 cannot be extracted from the player in order to be modified. The tools required to do so don't exist... yet.

Unless you have a complete and working firmware for your player.. only available from the manufacturer will you be able to skin it.

I strongly discourage you against trying to use anyone elses firmware as it will most likely be incompatible and disable your new player.
