Speakers do not turn off when headphones are plugged
 

Hello you all...

I have a new 2.2" MP4 player, and I do not know if it has a failure or is a configuration issue.

When I plugg in the headphones the external speakers do not turn off... so I listen simultaneously from headphones and speakers.

Is it dued a configuration option?...or it has a hardware failure?

diegux, Do not try and correct the problem by loading a different firmware, you will end up with a dead player with little or no chance of recovery.
I have a player with a speaker that is turned on and off by long pressing the REC button so try pressing a few different buttons while you have music playing.

yea diegux..never reflash ur player...ur problem not becoz of firmware...u may do as tadad say

I had this problem after having mine for six months I never used my speaker so I opened it up and removed the speaker
