Well, mine has a 24.000MHz one...

Anyway, i won't be fooling around with crystals anymore, as the solder connections of them are really delicate, and i don't have the appropriate equipment.

I'll just leave it alone before i damage the solder points on the board, as it's my only player. Maybe when i'll buy a rockchip or Meizu player i'll try again.

On the system diagram, the RTC clock is separate. However, the CPU clock has to be synchronised with the main clock, so overclocking by changing the crystal is not possible.

...but it can be software controlled up to 72MHz by enabling internal oscillator, setting the desired frequency, then selecting internal oscillator clock:

(note that the usual firmware sets the clock to 48MHz, except during FM radio when it is reduced back down to 24MHz probably to reduce interference.)
