Mod My Player
 

I just got a MP4 player from ebay...so far its been working great...i would like to know if i mod my theme on my MP4 player? i dont know what kind of MP4 player i got but i have a picture.

Looks like a rockchip-based player. Look around, as there is a rockchip theming tool in the download section. ;)

Just want to make sure that this is a rocket chip player...So is this really a rocket chip player?

No this doesn't look like a Rockchip player, the icons are all in the wrong place.
Look in the settings option and tell us the firmware version to identify the player.

Your player is an Actions chipset player. not sure if you can mod it though, I think only the older versions can be modded safely. maybe an Actions owner can advise?

BooGiE , at the moment only v9.0.43 and below can be modded/themed safely, as the firmware extraction tool only supports upto v9.0.43 currently.

i'll suggest not doing anything to the firmware until your version is supported at least.
