ok, the subject and description are pretty clear. so, is there no hope for me and my nano clone? i still can go to the store and get my $ back or change it for a 1gb lg i saw there, but if it's moddable then i'll keep it.

...not until we can get a full firmware dump.

morningstink , currently only the v9.0.43 of the v9.0.xx series can be extracted by S1fwx v3.2.

So unless your player uses this particular version, you cannot extract your firmware to theme your player.

i have a 9.1.52 ipod nano 2nd gen can this be modded?

melme1 , unfortunately any versions above v9.0.43 cannot be extracted at the moment. So your player's firmware could not be extracted.

but the programmers are working on it?right?

melme1 , currently wiRe at S1mp3.de is working on a new tool for the v9.0.xx players. However, progress has been slow as i think he is working alone. We won't know when the next tool would be out.

So i'll suggest that you just enjoy your player as it is and not do anything to its firmware.

Hi. Player with 9152 Firmware can be downgrade to a previous version for patch it with new themes?
