Hello guys...

Heres my situation, I got this MP4 Player last week without headphones, box, manual or CD.

I wanted to know the BRAND, MAKE, MODEL.
Any info would be great!

The Firmware info is:

Thanks,

Can I update to the new 9.0.xx FW ?

Will any 3.5.37 FW theme work? Even if the UIRES_30 don't match ????

karloz25 , as gaboon mentioned, your player can be themed. However, the firmware cannot be upgraded, and is never recommended to upgrade.

If you want to theme the player, always use your own extracted firmware to theme, and then re-flash it back to the player.

Extract and repair your firmware, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-ex...tool-vt66.html

Theme your extracted firmware using S1res, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-mo...ool-vt206.html
There are many themes that you can use from the downloads section. You'll need to manually change each image with the images from the themepacks, same for text strings.

When done, you can re-flash the themed firmware back to the player, guide here http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-up...ayer-vt46.html

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

lattesurf:

Thanks!

Will any 3.5.37 FW theme work? Even if the UIRES_30 don't match ????

For example, the ipod theme has a Topmenu but my original theme does not have a topmenu in the UIRES_30...

karloz25 , it does not matter if the theme packs you downloaded has additional or lesser images than your extracted firmware.

Just replace those images in your firmware with the images found in the theme packs. Usually these players are coded slightly different from each other, and some images maybe used by some players, but not others. This is also the main reason why you should not use someone's themed firmware to flash directly into your player.

You might also need to alter/modify some images to fit your firmware images.

If you are looking to sell them, anyone can get players at wholesale. The best manufacture in China is Reday Technologies. For a price list contact annie@usbpob.com

There players are reliable, they have tech support and their shipping is not inflaited.

There site is at http://www.usbpob.com

Ask for a price list for the MP3 and MP4 players. If you ask just for MP3 players that's all you'll get. The price lists are seperate for MP3 and then there's a list for MP4.
