Default RK2608 Speaker Bug

Hi if someone could help please...
I ordered a clone mp4 rk2608 firmware 00.00.0000
i've been reading through the forum and understand that the fm tuner doesn't work through the speaker because the headphones act as an antenna. it's a great player and all but my problem is that after listening to the FM tuner the speaker doesn't work for video or MP3 i must power it off and back on in order for it to work again (and no, the headphones are not still in the player when i do this). any advice would be be appreciated thanks!
this is the exact player...

not much you can do here im afraid

it may be a firmware issue, but if you have read the forums you will see the problems with these players, it will be near impossible to find a firmware that will work on your player

its going to be a case of putting up with it, sorry

its all down to the lack of care during productions, these things are thrown together with not a great deal of thought

is there a play/pause button in the raio screen of that player, if so, stop the radio before exiting it

SOLVED:

thanks for your quick response makd511. there is no play/pause button just volume up and down. but your response made me think of playin around with it again. the solution is that the menu bottom "middle button" brings you back to the main menu when held down and i was able to listen to video and mp3 through speaker without any problems. so instead of exiting through the fm tuner way you just need to press the menu button and i guess it shuts kills the fm tuner completely, funny you dont need to do that with mp3 or video none the less i do not need to turn the player off and on any longer. hope someone does figure out some firmware that won't brick the player touchscreen could use a little help and startup/shutdown screens are aweful. thanks for your help makd511

you were lucky, please do not encourage this as all these players are different, there are just too many chances of breaking the player

just because you were lucky does not mean others will be

you can not be a bull in a china shop about these things, these players are peoples possessions and wrong or careless advise can make them lose their player, i know you don't like my attitude to this, but at the end of the day we ave to err on the side of caution

BTW
how do you know your player is the same version, as i and many have wrote, the players looks are irrelevant, the players firmware numbers are irrelevant, there are many players from different factories that have the same firmware number but their hardware is different

please be more careful here, you were lucky, the next user may not be

thanks macd
I had the same version firmware and same bugs
and even with the updated firmware the bug
with the speaker(when you cycle trough songs speaker turns on )
is fixed
but the other bug (I cant listen FM trough the speaker )
is still "in" the damn rockchip
"you can not be a bull in a china shop about these things"
yeah..sorry again
and again for all the users- before updating firmware open your player and look for the chip, then read the instructions

this is not a bug all pmp players are like thsi as you need to use something as an Ariel and that something is the headphones, so this will never change and even on the new rockchips has not changed, even my samsung mobile has this feature and needs headphones, so no fix for this as it is not a bug
