I will give the guy with the best solution 1 pound(2$) on paypal if he succeeds to mod my firmware .

I have a Mini Mp4 Player ,i opened it and found its rk2608a ,i have 8gb of memory on it and a 1.3 mpx camera with DV/DC function .Right now i have a old looking music player (that navy blue ...) and the explorer and any other application is the same..only the photo viewer is a bit different ,vista style almost.

I want a ipod/vista/mac/or any other cool looking skin for it and how to bond it with my firmware(i have the correct firmware for it in RFW format that was given to my by the seller who sold me this .When i open this firmware with Dancemammal's tool and all the images look scrambled .I don't have any .lst file for it .
The right help will be rewarded

It has a 2.8 inch screen .Please i want to change the interface of my player .Can i put other firmware on it or will i have to mod this one i have ...if so..please hep me with it .

please see the following thread and confirm if your player is similar to the one discussed

if it is, an i know yours has a camera but he same applies

there is no way to extract your firmware
there are other firmwares BUT no guarantee they will work on yours player

so basically if you do not have the right firmware then no modding can be done and there is a strong possibility you may break your player by trying other firmwares from similar players

....i just want some cools skins to make it look like an ipod or mac os x or vista or basically any other interface(theme) just to look more nicer that the one i have ..

where did you get the firmware and have you actually uploaded it to the player successfully

skinning takes a long time, not only creating the images but it takes ages just to find the images in the firmware before even begin modding, there are tools for this so you may need to find the images yourself etc

Yes i succesfuly uploaded the firmware to the player and it works fine.The only problem i have is with some mp3 files witch are playing in slow motion :| ..dono wy and when i exit the music player ..a high pitch sound is heard form the speaker ..ut it dosen;t bother me that much ..

That's why i'm giving away 1 pound(2$)..i want someone to teach me how to modifi this firmware and give me some themes (images) for it ... please
