Hi guys,

Here is a simple chess program.
I wait for your feedbacks as usually :)

UPDATE:

7 Oct 09 - Updated to version 3.0
- The bug "Ghost of the Pawn" has been fixed ( Thanks to WIZARD).
- The sound has been added (Thanks to WIZARD and flasher86).
- The select for color has been added

:shock: :cool: awesome, I just tested this and it beat me!
This is amazing, full graphics and such a small file too!

Work perfect all buttons correct on my 320x240 screen, rk2608 rockchip player.

Chess

Thank you for porting this game to player! :rolleyes:

Here's my feedback:

1) Good color scheme, app icon is good and chessmans are nice :o
2) It's quite easy for me to beat the opponent.
The "Level" feature will be useful - ask the level (and Side) before start the game;
it can be added using Time of Thinking: for example,
for the easiest level player can use only 1 second,
while for the hardest it can be thinking up to 10 seconds.
3) Game is quite stable; however, there were two times
when the player freezed and I had to remove the battery.
Debug codes: 10 (1st) and 11 (2nd).

Chess is the most popular game in the world,
it's the only game which considered as sport,
and were a lot of chess world championships ...

BTW, I have a Rockchip touchscreen player. To use this game, I just copy it to my player? Sorry, not the best with Rockchip players as you can tell. :).

It's easy!
Just create a folder on your player called GAME put the game file in it and select it from the game menu in the player.

It shows the stack is overflowing :confused:
I will try to modify the implementation of the algorithm.

I tried putting it on my player in the root as well as in the "GAME" folder but it doesn't show up. My player only has Tetris/Blocks game and that's it. As soon as I choose "Game" it just goes straight into the Brick game with no options or menu to select anything else different...... I guess the games don't work for all Rockchip versions?

I think your player is based on RK27xx chip
(you've mentioned touchscreen and Tetris)
Sorry, these games are only for RK26xx players
(because of RK27xx's firmware restriction, you can play only in Tetris :()
but maybe this problem would be solved.
