RK27UIEditor V1.03 can not handle RLE encoded bmps ?
 

Hey folks,
I am finally starting to mod the UI of my ebook reader but i immediately ran into a couple of problems.
Editing the BMP0.BIN file seems to be a little difficult with newer players because of large pictures not showing up (garbled) and therefore it is impossible to replace them as well.
After looking closely at the BMP0.BIN i have noticed an extra bit set on those big pictures. (Right after width x height x planes. Sounds to me as if this is the toggle for RLE encoding of the picture and i am wondering if there is a tool out there that can handle that already.
It works fine with smaller/older firmware files.
Also is there a way to jump dump the contents of the file into a dirctory (basically a BMP0.BIN extractor of sorts)
I have tried the RK27UIEditor V1.03 and V1.08 (which i cant get working for some reason keeps complaining about something but my chinese is a little rusty lol)
T50Imagesearch is just a bit too much hassle. There are over 724 pictures in my file and having to set them in a lst file is just mindblowing.
Does anyone know of better or updated tools out on the web ?
