Did you mean Cost Per Click by CPC and as long as I know, the best program is adsense and they really pay .
I reccomend that you join ADBRITE.com becaus google adsense may not accept some other networks in the same page .

hehe I used adbrite on my site and i got fluff all compared to adsense, plus I never knew if I was really getting paid with adbrite, i still have about $26 waiting to get to me with the minimum payout of 5, this was 3 months ago! now i have $50 in a month and a half with adsense  quite annoyed that i put in the wrong postal code so I wont receive the letter to enter my PIN  just out of interest are adsense paying you much Binh?

fizzle05,

Still waiting for the PIN from AdSense and that was about two months ago.....

Adsense is here to support the hosting of the site. I still have yet to get "traffic stats" on as it will cost me as well :( Oh well, site is starting to run nicely now and it's good to see more people are posting as well :).

well your alexa rank is 222,896 and compared to my 780,000 odd and thats 400 uniques/2800 page views a day for me, you may want to try BBclone, you just add a small snippet of code to each of your pages and it counts up, gives you referrals, time stats and all that jazz, I use it for mine, works well.

Hey, I never looked at Alexa. Heard about it, but didn't know I could track mympxplayer.com site on it though. Your site has a 5/10 ranking with Google, which is really good man!

Really glad there are dedicated users on this forum (like yourself) who are actively posting in the forum and help out. It helps a lot. The more everyone shares, the more you can learn.

Don't know much about BBClone, however, with phpBB running the backbones of this site, it's hard to put any custom code. Google doesn't even index my site properly as well.

Re: Sponsors on our site?

yeah you are pulling a very large amount of visitors, practically every time I get on this site, there are about 15 users online. Alexa is useful to compare the site with other sites

As for my pagerank, no idea how that came about, i did submit to a few directories and post in a few related forums, but thats about it. I will add your link to the homepage of my site so maybe your pagerank will increase.

Thankyou for stickying the guide it is getting quite a few visitors on my site which is what I need :)

As for the dedication, I have learned so much on here considering I have only had my player a week now, and I like to help people out, especially when they show appreciation. Just a shame when things work out for people they abandon posting

It looks like you have a lot of phpBB mods, and other magical stuff, and I'm sure that phpBB has google SEO so I don't know why it isn't crawling your pages properly, of course you can't see what pages it is crawling because you haven't got the stats.....hmmm.....

you should be pleased with this site, I could only dream of having as many visitors as you!

*laughs at the comment made about adbrite*

I've just book marked that link you gave me, very useful. It helps to build up the page rank in Google by having good quality links that's for sure. I'll add the link to your site on the "links" section too.

I think the most annoying type of ad are popups, so as long as you can avoid putting them we will thank you ^_^

Of course, all other types of ads are welcome... in the same way you are helping us with all the information and the resources this site gives us, at least we can try to give you a little help with the hosting.. it's the minimun thing we users can do for the site ^_^

Well commented, thanks for your input.

Admin, I'm not pretty sure....
But, in the case we have sponsors here, what kind of advantage should we get on?
See, it really turns me mad to seeing those banners with stupid Emoticons with a message "Download FREE EMOTICONS HERE!!!" ¬¬"

In my opinion, if we're supposed to have sponsors here, they should be just MPX related sponsors, like some Shop selling MPX, and not for anything else..

This is my opinion.. =]

admin 25th Jun 2006 9:11 pm

Superboto

Thanks for your opinion, I agree. I hate those emoticons as well!

Google Adsense is good with their ads and I make sure that there is a 'filter' in place for non-related MPx stuff.

We will be getting onboard online stores for MPx players and more importantly, they will sell ACCESSORIES for MPx players, which will be quite good as some members are asking about them.... So the sponsors will be more relevant.

deepakrr 24th Dec 2006 2:16 am

i think its good to have sponsors.

people come to know about the site more easily and also members will know that they can buy stuff like mp4 players with full confidence and trust from the sponsors of this forum :)
