The shuffle clones are great little players to compare it to the baby nano is a little unfair. Because the baby nano looks very cheap. The shuffle looks just like the $80 apple.
Please keep your eyes open to real seller's because
true size 2GB and 4GB are out for the shuffle.

The shuffle clones were ready with some factories in early December. I didn't pay attention to them because I didn't see any reason why someone would not spend and extra $7 to 10, and get a FMP.

The shuffle clones are cheaper (about $7 to 8) than the FMP, in wholesale.

The FMP is much more in demand because of the small difference in price.

I think that the shuffle looks cheap (even the real one)

Baby nano looks actually cool :P

i like the shuffle more than the baby nano because the shuffle responds better, and it's much smaller. i dont see a reason for the first shuffle not to have a screen though. i dont think one could fit on the new shuffle, well i think that the shuffle clone is very good compared to the real one. much cheaper, and exacly the same.

Nice! I have always wanted a 2G shuffle, but I was amazed to read that even the size was the same. Perhaps I'll get one of these then... :)

What is the exact difference to a real 2G Shuffle?

Re: 2nd generation shuffle clones

If your in the USA, apple.com has refurbished 2nd gen shuffles for $50. Look in the refurbished section of the store. They only have the silver color. If you want a clone, dealextreme.com and kiadomain.com both have new and old clone types for under $20 shipped worldwide. Both are out of HK and shipping is slow 2-3 wks to me in the US.

Let's say it's the smallest 1GB player in the world.

Probably not!

I just don't think that the ripoff has the exact same size and maybe is out of plasic instead of metal.

It is the exact same size and made of metal. In fact, it uses the same aluminum extrusion section that the metal pod does - it's just cut shorter.

This one is also made of metal, is really small (1" cube), goes up to 2GB, and has an oled display. It's really cute, I was thinking of getting some of these.

I bought two of these for my kids, who are 6 and 8. They can't be beat! Foolproof and indestructible. They clip firmly onto a sleeve or collar instead of in a pocket or with an additional holder. At $24 including shipping, they rock.

Dang, that cube is kinda cute!! HubbleMart, where did you find these?

booboo773 25th Jul 2007 6:59 pm

Buzzygirl, UXCell has some for sale. Not sure where else, but I've seen them around.
