Default Video overview of the 'Optimus X' 2.4" Player

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRts7GyLZXU

BTW the TV show that is shown on the clip was originally a 350mb Xvid video file and when converted on LOW quality came to about 100mb (normal = 120mb HQ = 160mb) and the video quality was very good.

I also made this at about 5am, so i do sound tired and the commentary waffles a bit, i might redo it if i feel motivated.

I just received this player today and it seems excellent. I'm going to make a video review later on.

One question though: Unless my player is plugged in, it won't power on. I've had it charging for several hours so far. Does it have to charge for an extremely long time at first?

sandpaperback,

Does it have a little sliding on/off switch on it somewhere? Some players will power on and charge while this is off as long as it's connected to a power source.

Yes, sliding switch. And it does come on and appear to be charging whether the switch is on or off (keeping it on to be safe while charging). But once I unplug the USB cable, if I switch the player off, switching back on doesn't work until I plug it back in.

So far I still get the "charging" indicator (going from yellow to green over and over again), no solid green at any point. I'm just going to leave it plugged in tonight and see where we are in the morning.
