Default Uxcell Pearl Z MP4 Player 1.8 inch LCD Display 2GB - Black

Good Quality Player

PROS:
The player is very compact and nice looking, I love its round look, software loaded with it is good and updated with the latest version available. It has a nice opening on the top that allows you to hang it from your neck using any regular lace.
The position of the menus is also very convenient and easy to navigate through the folders. it's fully loaded with extra toys such as games, phone book and .txt file viewer, it supports most audio files and it is fast when you browse through your music collection on it. It also has a nice FM tuner which is good when you are bored of your own music, this feature I believe also allows you to record FM stations but I haven't tried it myself.

CONS:
-Manual that came in the box doesn't match the features and graphical interface of the actual player, looks like they either sent the wrong manual or they have one generic manual for all players.
-One time while browsing through folders the software was unable to return to the root folder for some reason, had to foward all the way to the next folder to be able to go to the root folder; it hasn't happen anymore though.
-Earphones are not the greatest quality but for the price you can't ask for more.

Other thoughts:
I'm not sure I like the earphones input on top of the player instead of at the lower part, but I can live with that. I got the black color player and they sent me white earphones, it would be nice if the earphones were the same color of the player, but I guess you can't ask for too much with this price!

I'm very happy with this MP4 Player.

This is my first review so be nice If I violted any rule also please let me know nicely. And now the pothos!

yes - I also love the review. Couple of questions though, what firmware version does it use, how's the video quality, and what's the size of the headphone jack? I've never actually seen anyone with this player before and it looks really cool.

Nanocopyuser I'm glad you liked my review hopefully it will be useful for some people, Princessanene1026 the firmware screen reads as follows:

LISONG
Firmware Version: LSD_5102_04
2006/08/30
SDK3.5.37

The video quality is very nice as it plays smootly even big f.amv files, I'm not very sure about the earphone jack but I can tell you that the player comes with an adapter which you can use to utilize bigger earphones than the provided ones, maybe that answers your question.

I must say that I'm glad with the battery life spam on this player as it lasts for hours even playing with the menus a lot, the screen turns off automatically after about 40 seconds unless you play with the menus again which helps extend the battery life too, charging the battery is a bleeze, it charges in full really quick!
