Video review of touch sensitive Action chipset player

Heres a video overview of a touch sensitive action chip set player:

thanks for the vid! looks neat. Are you sure it's actions chipset? I've never seen an actions that supports both an sd slot AND touchscreen. It also seems to run faster than the standard actions. Also, I couldn't see the screen too well. Is it bright and clear and does it have a good viewing angle? Sorry if you answered any of my previous questions in your video; I was watching it without sound.

That's quite nice, actually. The controls seems to work really well, and I'm particularly glad to see the players keep moving away from GUIs looking like they've been designed by a drunk clown in a finger paint store...

What's the chipset exactly? I've kinda' been wondering if Actions might be sitting on something better than ATJ209x that they wouldn't or couldn't release until their legal dispute with SigmaTel was done with.

there are more pictures of the player on mp4nation and you can see the clarity of the screen - it just didn't show up well on the camera.

It is a action chipset, i do believe a new chip was released as these support SRS WOW and it does run faster - especially when going from one song to another and when scrolling through your song directory.

razzer001,

Thanks for sharing that.

I've just got one that's very similar with the touch sensitive keypad too. But it's a Rockchip chipset. Will be sharing this later.

Actually the initial specs i got from my manufacturer was that it would be rockchip, they then switched it to the action chipset for some reason.

This review makes me wanting one of those. :D

But it'd be nicer if they'd stop cloning the LG Chocolate look, as a blue backlight for the keys would've been much better in my opinion. :P
