Default Review: New Temptation 2.4 from UXcell

Hi all just thought i'd wite a bit of a review about my new 2.4' Uxcell Temptation mp4 player.

I ordered it and it took about a week to turn up (i live in Australia) which i think is pretty good. So far i've been playing with it for the day and i'm really impressed with it. I also have a Sansa 1.5' e250 as well and this is so much better and half the price.

The touch buttons are on the side but the interface is really good the ear phones they supply are substandard but i'll be upgrading to better ones the video converter software that come with it does a really good job (compared to sansa) and it took a 800mb video and compressed to about 320mb in about 10mins which i think is pretty good and the resoultion is fantastic.

Pictures look really good haven't tried the text side of things yet but will let you know how is goes. So overall i've only had it for a day and i'm very happy with it (except the shitty instructions that come with it) and I would be hard pressed to get a little unit in Australia like this one for $100.00 so i give this unit both thumbs up.

hope this helps anyone thinking of getting one

P.s. i also tried the live chat with Uxcell and it was very helpfull

Cheers

Craig.

Thanks for sharing that review with us.
If you can add some photos, that would be great! It's nice to always see the player in it's true form rather than the glossed up photos you see on websites.

ok mogomail in regards to your volume problemit's easy when i found you you'll be kicking yourself.

1.hold the player so the blue button is on the right hand side
2.go into music player and start one of your songs
3. take notice of the volume number down the bottom right hand side.
4. now press the volume button one only (the volume bottom is the blue light at the bottom) and you should see the volume number flash red.
5. now you can adjust the volume using either one of the blue light keys facing left or right.
6. once you have adjusted your volume press the volume button again and hey presto it's all done..

told you it was simple lol... yes i do agree the instruction suck some what...

one other thing is when you put a memory card into the unit it will notice it but when you wnat to play music the player will only play from either the internal flash memory, or the memory card, music will not shuffle between both cards so don't try to get around it the player is not built for it..

One more disadvantage of Temptation player - it turns itself off after 5 min if you will stop the music or video. You will loose the point where your files were stopped, so there is no resume play option in this cool looking player!
My cheapest ipod clone has this function, but Temptation, despite Rockchip, cannot do it!
I am returning it...
