Among all Chinese clone iPhones, this one (
3.2 2 SIM TV Mobile Phone with Java WiFi) from Tinydeal.com is the most alike in terms of looking, from my point of view. Its luminous shell and high contrast-ratio display send out gracefulness, and the same is true of the built-in images.
My favorite function is its Mobile TV with relatively high definition. Sound volume, brightness, channels, and screen mode (full screen or window) can all be modified on the touch screen. The built-in regions for TV signal receiving include main countries of the five continents, like China, Japan, Korea, Russia, Ukrain, Egypt, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, and so on.
The cellphone supports simultaneous standby of two SIM cards. You can use the cellphone to send emails, while MSN and QQ are also set in advance. Like MSN, QQ is a type of instant messaging software, which has been installed by almost every Chinese netizen. So if you want to make some Chinese friends, use it.
The cellphone is compatible with WiFi according to the instruction. But I’ve not tried this, because there is no hotspot around where I live. Bluetooth transmission is a little bit slow and vulnerable to disturbance.
The cellphone’s display is made from capacitance materials, so it would not be scratched by your finger nails – my experiences proved that. The touch is screen is not dumb and definition is on middle-level, supporting the playing of some low-definition videos. I’ve inserted a 2Gb T-flash card into the phone where the card works well. And according to the instructions, W996 is compatible with a 16GB TF card at most. Video recorder and camera work fluently, but the photo taken is not so satisfactory – anyway, it only costs you 70 bucks or so.
As for the e-book function, the phone is OK with the TXT format. English e-books are OK, but I don’t know if other languages are also applicable. Some casual games and tricks are not very interesting, from my point of view. Of basic functions, voice of call is very loud and clear, and SMS is also OK.
Then let’s talk about Tinydeal.com. I ordered my phone from the Chinese online store this June and received it like 15 or 16 days later. I got a tracking number for free and asked the customer service once about where my package had reached. And the CS lady kindly told me it has reached the US customs.
