Mmmhh I don't see much difference here, the I2C and I2S type are the same...

For our player, we use the internal RK27xx CODEC.

I2C is set-up to I2C_Internal (2)
I2S is set-up INTERNAL_CODEC (0)

Ok so I see you found the few opcodes you mentioned in that Zsp_getting_started.pdf

I am not sure really.

It's true an error in IOMUX config ( ie. a pin is not configured correctly ) could be responsible for having audio issues.

You imagine that if I2C was used as external...

By the way, this is a super useful module.
From your PC, you can control devices via UART, SPI, I2C ... the most common protocols out there, and have a bunch of GPIO.

Many pins in the RK27xx chip can have several usages.
IOMUX functions selects the particular usage for a pin.
They multiplex pins to reduce the number of pins for the chip, which is supposed to...

We have a RK2705, the arm core runs up to 240 MHz and DSP up to 176 MHz.
Make sure you have the numbers right in the PLL (i think there is a list of PLL values in the HW_PMU module).

The rk27xx does not use ZSP400 ?

According to the datasheet of rk7xx, the DSP has a eight stages pipeline.
This is not ZSP400 which employs a five stages pipeline.

The eight stages pipeline corresponds to the ZSP 500
And there...

We probably just need the ZSP400 assembler, its name is sdas.
I have never seen it anywhere.
