Re: New Touchscreen Player

I think that this player probably comes with a RK2706 chip. The RK2708 version of the chip is designed for PMPs with digital cameras.

Re: PETITION "Stop this Multi-Million Dollar Fraud on e

Hi DarkAngel,

Yes, it sounds like you are another victim of a hacked memory device.

As a side note: In general I would stay away from any Rockchip RK2608A based players since there are so...

Re: New Nationite player to be released soon

I'm a bit concerned about this player as it's video quality seems to be fixed to 320X240 resolution. I think people are too obsessed with fancy user interfaces these days. It just seems like they...

Re: Help Firmware IPOD 3rd 8Gb Nano clone CHIP HYNIX

I know that this isn't what you want to hear, but in the future people should stay away from the iPod Nano Clones. There are some great Chinese brand name MP4 Players like Onda, Meizu, Teclast,...

Re: Hacha PC20a Unboxing Review

I'm not sure what this will retail at yet. I would like to see the 8GB version sell for $99.95 but 8GB FLASH memory chip pricing is still a premium.

Cheers,

David

Re: Did anyboby buy this PMP from Tinydeal?

Ango,

I'm afraid that you are stuck with the file formats that come with that player. While there are ways to change background themes and some other stuff, the file formats that the player...

Hacha PC20a Unboxing Review

I received a sample of the Hacha PC20a this week. This is one of Hacha's new RK2706 versions of the PC20. It plays all of the same formats found on most other RK2706 players. I was very impressed...

Re: Unit has partially stopped working

iPOD clones are notoriously bad for support and for finding firmware updates. Most of the time a no-name manufacturer does one or two production runs and then moves on to another product.

I'm not...

Re: MP3/MP4 model MPX661

It sounds to me like your player's file system is corrupted. You might first try to format the players flash and see if you can then load and play back files. Before you format your player, make a...

Re: DV MP4 MP5 Player...

When you plug it into the USB port on your computer, it should tell you something about the player - most of the time the chipset name is displayed, sometimes the player name.

A lot of these...

Re: What kind of chipt is this ?

DaremoS, that is interesting that the video gets jerky when running from the SD card. This probably has to do with read cycle times from the SD card and not the Rockchip or conversion. There are...

I would stay away from all players with the older generation Rockchip 2608A. I had so many problems with video synchronization (between the audio and video) that all I got was a ton of frustration...
