Don't upgrade firmware unless a player is dead, or freezes.

Well... I don't have the player right here ATM, but for sure that chip labelled CTW500 (it's about the same size) has far more pins than regular ATJ2085... thats why i'm looking for pinout shematics...

Maybe your problem is that with FW upgrades, the player's USB VID/PID changes slightly, according to the firmware......

I think that MPxhelp.org is pretty good, but prefer MyMPx.org for the following reason: for people it's easy to asocciate mympxplayer.org -> mympx.org, and the change will be natural, smooth and easy...

With s1clone you need to replace the ADFU driver with the one that comes with it. It is in C:\Program Files\s1clone\driver\libusb, and you need to manually replace the driver from Device Manager.

You could brick your player if done incorrectly or with wrong firmware...

Do that ONLY if the player malfunctions, or if it dies suddendly.

Yep, it happens only the 1st time when replying a post, any thread. If you click on "Proceed anyway" you can edit and preview as much as you want, but Chrome warns again when replying to another...
